Life at Íslandsmót

27 Aug 2010 - 23:03

The first days of Íslandsmót are looking really good and promising for the coming days. The weather is very comfortable for the guests and the presentations are good and the horses are great. The hospitality of the Sörli club members cannot be overrated, the facilities are great and so is the catering service, which is in the riding arena, offering refreshments at an affordable price.

In the late afternoon a subtle smell of barbecue passes over the area, from a great big barbecue carriage which has been lit, and this is where the Sörli members crowd in order to broil themselves delicious steaks.  Benches for the spectators have been set up on the slope, which is very convenient for those who do not want to lay on the grass all day.
