Photo exhibition - Landsmót for 60 years

Icelandic Horse Clubs Federation has, in collaboration with the city of Reykjavík set up a fantastic photo exhibition in Hljómskálagarðurinn, near the center of town.

The exhibition consists of 20 posters recapitulating the main themes from the very first Landsmót which was held at Þingvellir in 1950, until today.

The photos show many known horsemen’s faces as well as magnificent gæðingar along with versatile crowd of people which is a characteristic of the tournaments. The text is both in Icelandic and English.

The authors of the show are the two gentlemen Gísli B. Björnsson and Kári Arnórsson.  The exhibit will be open throughout the month of August.
