6 May 2010 - 16:25
Big Jake is a 9 year old gelding of a Belgian breed. He lives on Smokey Hollow Farm, which is a ranch close to the town Poynette in Wisconsin, United States.
Jerry Gilbert, the owner of the horse, recently received conformation from the Guinness World Records that Big Jake was in fact the tallest horse and is almost 7 centimeters taller than the former world champion.
He is no less than 210,185 cm measured up to his withers and weighs more than one ton or to be exact 1179,43 kg. This is a really huge horse, although his owner describes him as a “gentle giant”.
Take a look at the two video clips with the news on Big Jake.
