16 Dec 2009 - 10:59

Finally, the selection committee in the Eiðfaxi photo competition has come to a conclusion. The appointed judges were Anna Fjóla Gísladóttir and Heiðar Þór Jónsson.

Over 500 photos were received. Of the whole lot, 10 were chosen to be rewarded and all of these will be appear in the Eiðfaxi christmas edition which were released yesterday  and will come to their subscribers today, Tuesday December 15th.

According to the selection committee, this was not an easy decision as great many good photos were there to choose from and to be considered and reconsidered before a final conclusion was reached.

The photos that came were very versatile and the subject matters of the photographers were variable.

Eiðfaxi thanks all the people participating in this competition and congratulates the winners wholeheartedly.
