The Masters League is launched for the nineth time - photos

The Masters League in horse sports 2012 was launched at Nauthóll by Nauthólsvík today...

when an introduction of the sponsors and competition teams was announced. Following, the riders of the league showed their best gæðingar in the snow in Nauthólsvík.

The Masters League is now held for the ninth time. A total of seven teams are registered into the competition and there are four riders in each team, three of them competing in every event.

The Masters League is hosted at Ingólfshvoll in Ölfus and the tournament will start with a competition in four gaits on Thursday at 1900 hours. A total of eight events will be on the agenda in six tournaments.

It is possible to watch the tournament live here on this website which hardly compares to experiencing the excitement in the arena. Ticket sales for annual tickets have started and can be purchased in the following places. Lífland, Top Reiter and Baldvini og Þorvaldi in Selfoss.
