The senior one is 35 years old

Champion horse owners in many different places in Europe  have responded to Susanne George‘s challenge and already 23 owners and ex competitors in WC finals....

announced their participation in Berlin 2013 in connection with the  project „Old Heroes – Wir kommen nach Berlin.“ The aim was to have at least thirty horses, 20 years and older present and thereby honoring the guests of the World Championship in Berlin with their presence. Considering the positive responce concerning this project, this will be one historical group riding.

Among the senior champions is a multi world champion in 250 m pace, Mjölnir frá Dalbæ, the patriarc Mökkur frá Varmalæk and the world champion in four gaits, Bassi frá Möðruvöllum and naturally the world champion in five gaits, Huginn frá Kjartansstöðum. The senior of the group this time is Glaumur frá Sauðárkróki, who will turn 35 years old during the time of the group riding in the arena:
